Our Wedding

Our story began in July of 2022. Alyssa had been asked to be the Maid of Honor for her friend's wedding and was tasked with the job of finding a +1 for the event. So, with the pressure on, she went off and began searching Hinge. There, after some chat and banter, Jon and Alyssa set up their first date, a simple meeting at a coffee shop. 	What was meant to be a relatively short hour-long hangout became 5 hours of conversation and chemistry. Followed by a series of dates that all shared the common trait of lasting far longer than intended and frequently closing out restaurants or bars. 	Within a few months, it was clear to both of them that the relationship they had was leading to something bigger. So Jon popped the question. "Will you join my D&amp;D group?" Despite its share of ups and downs, their relationship continued to blossom and grow.	3	years later, they were happily living together with their two loveable cats. In July of 2025, Jon hatched a plan to move their relationship forward in a new way. On a sunset at Red River Gorge, Jon proposed to Alyssa. To which, she of course, happily said yes. 	We appreciate and thank you for your support, love, and care over the past 4 years, and we look forward to a night of excitement and celebration that none of us will ever forget.

Street parking is available for the locations in yellow. There are additional parking spots at 165 N Parkview Ave, a short walk from the venue. Please do not park at the mansion unless you are handicapped or part of the event staff.

The Franklin Park Conservatory is a fantastic spot to spend an afternoon. If you are looking for someplace to wander through beautiful indoor and outdoor gardens, dynamic exhibitions, artwork, and more, check them out. Tickets range from $21-25 per person

COSI is a nationally esteemed science center that has delighted Central Ohio with all things science for 60 years, inspiring interest in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) topics and delivering our experiential, "hands-on fun" brand of learning.&nbsp;Tickets are around $30 per person.

Center of Science and Industry (COSI)

Welcoming close to 2 million guests every year, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is located just north of Columbus, OH, and is home to over 600 species from around the world. Tickets are $36 per person

Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

Our market is Central Ohio's largest farmers' market, boasting nearly 100 vendors from Columbus and the surrounding areas. The market includes locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables, locally produced cheeses, jams, jellies, honey, and maple syrup, high-quality cuts of meat from carefully raised farm animals, eggs from pastured chickens, flowers, herbs, plants, homemade soaps, and foodstuffs.&nbsp; It is free to enter, and runs 8:00-12:00 on Saturdays

Worthington Farmers Market

The Book Loft is one of the nation's largest independent bookstores. The pre-Civil War era buildings that once were general stores, a saloon,&nbsp;and&nbsp;a nickelodeon cinema are now home to 32 rooms of Bargain Books.
